Nominations Are Open for the 2017 Teen Choice Book Awards

The only book awards chosen by teens

NEW YORK, NY, UNITED STATES, December 27, 2016 /EINPresswire.com/ — In partnership with The Children’s Book Council (CBC) and Every Child a Reader, Teenreads.com is giving teens the chance to pick the finalists for the CBC’s 2017 Teen Choice Book Awards, the only book awards chosen exclusively by teens. Voters will be asked to select up to 15 of their 2016 favorites from a list of 485 titles in a wide range of genres. If voters do not see a favorite title on the provided list, they are encouraged to write in their choices of books published in 2016.

Voters can fill out the form hosted on the Teenreads website from now through 11:59 pm (EST) on February 11, 2017. The five titles that receive the most votes will be determined at the end of February and will serve as the finalists for the Teen Choice Book of the Year award.

Voting for the Children’s and Teen Choice Book Award winners will then open February 28 and run through the final day of Children’s Book Week on May 7, 2017. The winners will be announced in conjunction with the ABC Children’s Group/ABFE art auction on May 31 at BookExpo.
