14 year old global entrepreneur launches business book, contributors include Branson

Henry Patterson, 14, is setting out to educate his generation on the value of money and work including the author’s own recipe for success and happiness.

" Henrys motto is ‘turn your passion into possibilities’, which is an idea I can really get behind. If you do what you love, you’ll move mountains to make it happen and make it successful”.

— Sir Richard Branson

UK, LONDON, UK, May 16, 2018 /EINPresswire.com/ — 16th May 2018 – UK 14 year old serial entrepreneur and founder of children’s brand Not Before Tea, Henry Patterson, 14, is setting out to educate his generation on the value of money and work, with the publication today of a book that combines practical advice with the author’s own recipe for success and happiness.

There are also contributions from some of Henry’s heroes and role models including advice from Sir Richard Branson, Sir Cameron Mackintosh, entrepreneurs Sarah Willingham and Theo Paphitis, Mike Krieger (the co-founder of Instagram), Ariana DeBose (from the US cast of Hamilton) and Tim Stockdale, the Olympic showjumper. All recount their early experiences of earning money (not all successful) and explain what drove them to succeed in their chosen fields (rarely just money).

Young and Mighty – subtitled “Your secret weapon for earning some money, changing the world, and spending your future doing what you love” – includes ideas for making extra money and fundraising for good causes, plain English guides to the basics of starting and running a business, and a section packed with tips and engaging exercises to help young readers to start to “turn their ideas into things”.

In Young and Mighty Henry tells his own story too – his difficulties at school, his stammer and his journey to grow his children’s brand Not Before Tea and lessons he has learnt along the way.

He says: “The real point of the book is to help people my age to think about how to make their way in the world. Children today don’t know if they’ll get a job or have their own home when they get older. Schools don’t teach us how to really set up a business. They also don’t educate us on being flexible and agile when it comes to working. What do you do if you graduate and there are no jobs in your sector to interview for? You don’t learn about back-up plans at school”.

Henry says children should learn about money as early as possible as a vital part of their training for later life.

“I have had negative comments from parents saying I should not be thinking about money and business at my age. I totally disagree. I have spoken to lots of people who didn’t even think about it until they left school and were then overwhelmed.

“Leaving school and starting a job shouldn’t be something to dread but something to look forward to. I don’t dread work, I find it fun. Everybody should love what they do. That’s really what my book is about.”

Young and Mighty is published in paperback by Harriman House at £12.99, on sale on Amazon and all leading UK book shops and at www.youngmighty.com

Editors’ notes

About the Book

Young and Mighty is for children and young people, 10 to 14, who are starting to think about their future and starting to make sense of what motivates them.

It covers some of the big issues that young people face: money, self-esteem, finding your voice, education and creativity. It particularly appeals to those struggling to fit in.

In the introduction Henry tells his story about developing a stammer after being bullied at school and his journey to rediscover his voice.

His experiences have taught Henry that children can discover their own version of success. The book provides examples from business, the arts and sport contributed by people Henry has met or admires.

Other chapters deal with how to double your pocket money and how to raise money for good causes. There is also advice from business, marketing and legal experts on how to start and run a business.

Young and Mighty promotes confidence and thoughtfulness, not just material ambition.

About Henry

Henry started his official business journey at the age of nine when he launched children’s brand Not Before Tea. This was based on a story book he had written entitled The Adventures of Sherb and Pip. All the characters in the book were bought to life through products such as bags, wash bags and soft toys. Today the products are sold internationally and Henry has just secured investment to grow the brand further.

At 12 years old, Henry was a keynote speaker at the prestigious Retail Week Live event at the 02 in London, where he shared the stage with the likes of Facebook and Google.

Despite battling a stammer, he developed a love of public speaking and has since spoken alongside some of the world's top motivational speakers on stages in Malaysia, Singapore, Italy, Berlin and Vietnam.

Now 14, Henry has just set up an online platform Young&Mighty, to enable young entrepreneurs to turn their business ideas into reality, through short practical courses.

Free spaces are offered to schools, who run ‘Get Mighty’ competitions to their students. This annual Dragons Den style format, encourages pupils to pitch their business idea to their teachers. Each age section will win access to the Young and Mighty online academy.

He is sharing the lessons he has learnt with schools and colleges throughout the UK, most recently working in a group of students from The Peter Jones Academy.

Author Hilaire Tavenner to be Featured on CUTV News Radio

LORAIN, OHIO, UNITED STATES, May 16, 2018 /EINPresswire.com/ — Life is full of numerous paths to take and we must all decide what vocation we wish to pursue. For many of us there are more than one career and goals we elect to follow and when we do our lives become ultimately fulfilling and full of promise.

Hilaire Tavenner is a former Franciscan nun, educator and esteemed author of eight books and over a hundred published articles and short stories.

“For aspiring writers I unreservedly recommend write what you know and what you’re most exceedingly passionate about,” says Hilaire. “In doing so you will categorically produce something more indelibly enduring and profoundly informative. I have written about things that interested me most.”

Her books include “Nun of This and Nun of That: Book One, Beginnings” which is about how the convent creates a nun out of a teenage girl. “Nun of This and Nun of That: Book Two, Making Vows” is what it is like living in community with other nuns. “A Portrait of Helen Steiner Rice,” is a short biography of one of America’s most famous poets from Lorain, OH. “My Friendship with Elizabeth Ann Seton,” is about the life of Mother Seton and the relationship Dr. Tavenner has had with America’s first native born saint. “Memories of Mom; They Called her Dutch” is the life of Hilaire Tavenner’s mother, her husband, parents, children, etc. It is a tribute to all good mothers, and Dr. Tavenner created this book because her mother was her best friend, and life inspiration. “France, 1996: Memoirs of a writer in France,” “Peru, 2002: Memoirs of a writer in Peru,” and “Puerto Rico, 2006: Memoirs of a writer in Puerto Rico,” are three travel books which record the adventures of her travails, complete with history and culture, respectively.

At the young age of seventeen Hilaire entered the convent and became a Franciscan nun. After twenty years, she came to believe that God had other plans for her life and decided to leave the convent. Hilaire had taught for 15 years as a nun in Syracuse, Albany and Fulton, New York, in Lorain, Ohio, in Tampa Florida and in Caguas, Puerto Rico before leaving the community. She taught 2nd, 3rd, 5th, 6th, 7th & 8th grades, mostly science and religion. After leaving the convent, she pursued and earned a doctorate in Education from the University of South Florida. Later, she taught for various colleges and universities. [University of South Florida in Tampa, Cleveland State University, Tiffin University in Ashland, OH, and Lorain County Community College. ] For 3 years, she was a Director of Education for a Sylvan Learning Center. Dr.Tavenner taught GED and ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) classes (Adult Education) to immigrants for 13 years, and tutored before retiring in 2016. Resolutely believing immigrants can only thrive in our society when they learn our English language. In between, she wrote and published her eight books.

“I started the International Writers Association nineteen years ago to honor Helen Steiner Rice,” says Hilaire. “We are a magnificent, dedicated group of almost 60 writers who hold writer’s conferences, support, encourage, educate, inform and share our short stories, poetry, and plays with other aspiring writers.” “About 50 of our writers are in the United States, and about 10 live in other countries around the world.”

She wholeheartedly recommends writers to remain resolute and thick skinned as she was rejected seventy five times while trying to get published the traditional way, a costly endeavor until she finally decided to self -publish and achieved her success.

“Since I was a child I listened to my inner voice and that’s what I encourage all individuals to do,” says Hilaire. “That incisive voice is God who leads us throughout our journey. Our first prayer should be ‘God, Your holy will, not mine! What is it that you want me to do?’ When you follow Him, you will be immersed in peace and joy, because if it’s all about your ego, you will most likely, not find the lasting happiness you may seek.” Not that any life is easy! I always say, “The greater the good, the greater the adversity” but the adversity is doable and fruitful if one seeks and stays close to TRUTH.

“Memories of Mom,” is one of Hilaire’s most poignant books. It is about her cherished mother, tragically stricken with emphysema after being addicted to nicotine for 40 years. Hilaire left Florida and returned to live with her mother when the doctor insisted her mother needed to be in a nursing home. When she asked the doctor, “How long do you think my mother has to live?” He answered, “Maybe six months.” But because Hilaire went home, and kept her mother in the same family home her mother had known for nearly 50 years, her mother lived six years, not six months. “It was the honor of a lifetime, to be able to return even some of the love my mother so generously imparted to me throughout my life. Mom loved all seven of her children with an unconditional, beautiful, and generous spirit!”

“I’m extremely proud of all my books and the accomplishments God has made possible throughout my life! Teaching about 3,000 children, about 2,000 adults, helping mom, writing books and giving countless speeches along the way” says Hilaire. “It brings me absolute delight and gratification that I will leave behind a legacy of service and good will.”

CUTV news will feature Hilaire Tavenner in an interview with Jim Masters Wednesday May 16th EST.

Connie Goodman-Milone Returns to CUTV News Radio

MIAMI, FLORIDA, UNITED STATES, May 15, 2018 /EINPresswire.com/ — “It is so wonderful to know there’s a place for caring people in this world.” This is what Connie Goodman-Milone, a highly regarded writer, Miami writing mentor and philanthropist, had to say about receiving a Marquis Who’s Who Humanitarian Award in 2017. It is one of the two she is proudest of in her string of accolades. The other was for Bereavement Volunteer of the Year, from VITAS Healthcare, bestowed on her in 2001, for her outstanding emotional and spiritual support of persons going through the hospice and grieving process (at a most crucial time of loss in American history.)

Connie has been oft-recognized for her work–as a frequent contributor of letters to the editor to the Miami Herald. Also for running groups, projects, and contests as community relations director of the South Florida Writer’s Association, and director of the Junior Orange Bowl Creative Writing Committee. She is an award-winning wordsmith who favors Haiku and free verse lyrical poetry, and was published in Poets Corner, Healthy Stories, Florida State Poets Association Anthology, Author’s Voice and other media.

But there is another, even more noble side to her; Connie is a credentialed social worker, and a compassionate supported for those who have experienced the pain of loss. She understands the emotions and needs of patients and the destruction of Cancer firsthand, since she stood faithfully by her mother’s side throughout mom’s battle with the disease. Sadly, mom passed only three months after she gave Connie the most beautiful wedding in Philadelphia.

Connie became a hospice volunteer at the VITAS inpatient unit at North Shore Hospital in Miami, and was so attuned at understanding matters, that patients and family members welcomed Connie’s support. She has since become a cherished volunteer for VITAS Healthcare. She is incredibly civic-minded and serves as a field partner for Doctors Without Borders, a champion for the American Red Cross and a patron of many non-profit organizations focused on wildlife and human rights.

Connie’s great loves have converged in her most meaningful initiative, an in-development book she is compiling with Jonathan Rose. It is known as The Bereavement Poetry Project and will be a two-volume anthology with a bereavement-themed name. The book will feature writers, at all levels and from all walks of life, who have experienced loss. Connie believes poetry is a healing art, and a great tool for coping with the death of a loved one.

Connie has lived in Miami since 1997 and is a known entity there. She is recognized as much for her gun violence protection and baseball writing pieces as her work for the local Veterans Creative Arts Festival. Help celebrate her special spirit and accomplishments as she returns to CUTV News Radio for a new six-part series.

CUTV News will feature writer and volunteer Connie Goodman-Milone in second six-part series on May 17th, May 24th, May 31st, June 14th, June 21st, and June 28th at 2pm EDT.

Listen to the shows on BlogTalkRadio.

If you have questions for our guest, please call (347)996-3389.

James Viscuglia II Talks About There New Automated Day Trading Software and Trading Companies

“I don't care what People say about me as long as they Pronounce my name right.” ”

— James Louis Viscuglia II

LAS VEGAS, NV, UNITED STATES, May 14, 2018 /EINPresswire.com/ — James Viscuglia II is pleased to announce that his day trading group, using his proprietary The automated day trading software, has made history with 40.25 points in May so far . Viscuglia explains that if a user traded $500 they would have made that amount times 322. The Boss Software is price action trading software has worked far beyond expectation. Viscuglia made the software so simple that it operates at a 9th grade level.
James Viscuglia II
James Viscuglia II
The group trades on the E-Mini S&P 500 Future Stock as well as the Eurex Exchange Mini-DAX. The new X PRO trading software will also be trading on German DAX market. Viscuglia's software runs 23 hours a day and notifies the user with a ping when there is a trade. They then have three to five minutes to make the trade if they desire.

The software is based on the Stock Trendline and EMA Stock line but has been reversed-engineered and set at a different timeline. The group does price action trading and earns when the market goes up or down. The group has been very successful finishing each week and month in the positive.

Price action is a technique by which a trader reads the market and then makes a decision based on the actual price movement on the chart as opposed to by relying on lagging indicators. Most indicators are, in fact, derived from prices on the chart, meaning that they are unnecessary and are reflective of past information. Price action traders believe that trades should be made on the most important and up-to-date information, which they hold to be the current price and price history of a particular security.

Through the use of particular strategies, these traders can utilize past information to learn about what prices are likely to do in the short-term, which gives them a leg up when it comes to eking out short-term profits. More technically, price action is the movement of a security's price. This action is encompassed in technical and chart pattern analysis in an effort to find order in what might otherwise appear to be a random price movement. Swings, tests of resistance, and consolidation are all examples of price action.

The Cambridge Trading Academy New Automated Day Trading software is easy to understand because they turn it at night and turn it off in morning SET IT and FORGET IT !! Users just have to follow the six simple indicators and be patient, rather than "hunting" for stocks and trades to take. Once the software is purchased, the user can download it on any computer or mobile device or on multiple devices.

Cambridge Trading Academy acts as an educational institute working to equip others to determine for themselves what the right moves are in the trading field. Training can last up to a month and the intensive curriculum takes traders from point A to point B. It teaches someone that knows nothing about day trading and gives them access to the more than 50 years of combined knowledge and tips from those in the industry. Viscuglia is also live streaming a live trading session, which will be accessible via Google, Yahoo, Bing, Facebook and Twitter.

"I have always believed that people can learn to do the trading on their own if given the proper guidance," says Viscuglia. "Students who take my courses learn how to trade for themselves. After watching and learning, students can make educated risk assessments based on what they've learned. With my software, students can predict trading indicators and show the best chance of profitability. In addition, they will be able to view the lowest possible risks for loss."

Viscuglia's aim is to ensure that people have control over their own financial futures. There is everyone from stay-at-home moms to retired law enforcement and military within his group.
