D.C. Police have released a list of 15 new speed camera locations, which are set to be activated on or around Tuesday. Police say the 14 speed cameras and one camera that targets oversized trucks will debut Tuesday
Florida International University’s 12-fan “Wall of Wind” hurricane simulator is on display at the National Building Museum in Washington. The “Designing for Disasters” exhibit explores new solutions and historical responses to natural hazards including earthquakes, tornadoes, hurricanes, storm surge, flooding, tsunamis and wildfires.
According to a worker at the scene the spill is related to an overflow originating from Montgomery County that exceeded the system capacity for this part of D.C..
Notice that “unknown” has been hand written over the quantity of sewage that was estimated from the last spill – 5 million gallons. The Fletcher Boathouse is closed.
